Bataan Memorial March

Join the Norwin Air Force Junior ROTC units as we march to remember and honor the 75,000 American troops forced to march 65 miles to death camps in the Bataan Peninsula during World War II and support our warriors coming home. Our goal is to raise $8,000 for the nonprofit organization "Operation Finally Home". The march will take place on March 30, 2019. We will start at 8:00 and march on the Greater Allegheny Passage, starting at the Little Boston Trail.  

GOAL: Our goal is to raise $8,000 for Operation Finally Home in memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the Bataan Death March during WWII.

WHAT WE ARE DOING: 5K, 10K, and half marathon walk/run

WHO WE ARE DOING IT FOR: Operation FINALLY HOME was established in 2005 as a nonpartisan/nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and has already had a significant impact across the country. To date, they have over 250 home projects completed or in planning in 33 states providing custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s military heroes and the widows of the fallen, those who have worn America’s uniform and sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and values.

WHERE IT TAKES PLACE: Little Boston Trail, 1910 Donner Street Boston, PA 15135

WHEN: March 30, 2019. Sign in and Registration will start at 8 AM and the march will start by 10 AM

WHAT TO WEAR: 100% American, the more red, white, and blue the better!
